We want as many people as possible to enjoy Headline History

To make this happen we have introduced several different ways of navigating and accessing these pages. Headline History will be accessible to the vast majority of interested users whatever their level of physical ability or sensory capacity.

  • The pages contained on this site have been created using optimised html, maximising the number of computers that can successfully view Headline History.
  • All audio elements within Headline History (including visual cues, icons and navigational buttons) have easily accessible text alternatives.
  • We have also made sure that keyboard shortcuts offer an alternative to using a mouse.
  • All pages have been tested to W3C accessibility standards.
  • All pages are compatible with screen-reading software.
